Have you ever wondered how caterpillars turn into beautiful butterflies? Caterpillars go through many changes in their life, just like we do! Why did the caterpillar eat so much food? Why did he go in a cocoon and sleep? How did the caterpillar wake up into a butterfly? After reading The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle, you should have a little idea of the life of a butterfly! This web quest will help you understand the process of change from a caterpillar to a butterfly.
When you are done with this web quest you will have reflected on your knowledge of butterflies, researched facts about Eric Carle and research information about caterpillars’ life cycles.
